How item exchange works
- Open Zelda Notes in the Nintendo Switch App and pick Tears of the Kingdom.
- Scan the QR code of a box from this site.
- Collect the items in game from the Zelda Notes delivery.
Share your own box
- In Zelda Notes, open the item exchange and create your box.
- Generate its QR code and save the image (or take a screenshot of the whole card).
- Upload the image on this site with a title that says what you give or what you need.
- Keep the modification code: it lets you edit or delete your box later.
Frequently asked questions
Are the items really free?
Yes. Boxes are shared by other players, nobody sells anything here. Please only take what you need so the next player gets something too.
Why does a box not work anymore?
Boxes can be emptied or expire on the Zelda Notes side. Each box page has a "does it still work?" vote: check it before scanning, and vote after you try.
How many item boxes are on the site?
There are 452 boxes right now, 73 of them giving items and 266 from players asking for help. The numbers update by themselves as people post.
